Experience the thrill of climbing Ol Doinyo Lengai, an active volcano with stunning views and cultural encounters. This trek offers a mix of adventure, scenic beauty, and cultural insights.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to Moshi. Meet your guides for a briefing and gear check. Overnight in a hotel in Moshi.
Drive from Moshi to Lake Natron. Enjoy the scenic drive and arrive at the camp by the lake. In the afternoon, visit the local Maasai community and learn about their culture and traditions. Overnight in a tented camp by Lake Natron.
Spend the morning exploring Lake Natron, known for its flamingos and other birdlife. After lunch, drive to the base camp of Ol Doinyo Lengai. Prepare for the night summit attempt. Overnight in tents at the base camp.
Begin the summit trek around midnight. Reach the summit at dawn and witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Great Rift Valley. Descend back to the base camp and drive back to Moshi. Arrive in Moshi in the evening for departure.
